Loft Conversions in London

Below is a typical London roof, also known as a Butterfly roof, these types of roofs are very common in South London. You can see one built in the Step By Step link in the navigation buttons, this particular Mansard London Loft Conversion was constructed in North London Hackney, the Council insisted on having all the dormers dressed in Code 5 lead, and they had to petrude out, rather than bieng flush with in the roof walls. We also had to build the party walls first which also act sa a support for the Steel Beams. here are some pics:
